The purpose of the church is to strengthen, encourage and comfort one another.
We do this through teaching and preaching, through music, and through Bible studies.

At Neighborhood Christian Center, our mission is to provide an atmosphere where people can discover God,
find Him, and progress into authentic followers of Jesus Christ; while caring for one another and
reaching out to others. You have the opportunity to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ even this day!

Mark Coffman

Lead Pastor

Mark grew up just south of Tumwater in Rochester. As you would hope for a Pastor, Mark wants to be first known for loving God; to be closely followed by loving people. Ranking exceedingly high amongst those people, would be his wife of over 15 years Kate, and their two young daughters. He is quick to laugh, loves to be in nature and never met a board game he doesn’t like. Mark takes a great deal of pleasure in helping people engage their faith, or even better to find new life in Christ. He holds ministerial degrees from both NW University and Fuller Seminary, has served in ministry for over 20 years both locally and in Australia.
